Upcoming Workshop - Twizzle

Twizzle Quilt: 70" x 77"
There are a couple of spaces left in my upcoming 'Twizzle' workshop at Calico Cupboard.

When you make the this project you can make TWO other projects at the same time. It all has to do with how you make the quilt

This is a perfect time of year for this project. Keep one project for yourself and the other 2 can be gifts!

Join me on Friday, October 18, 10 am - 3 pm.

Skill Level: Confident Beginners with
basic piecing and rotary cutting experience

Class fee is $50

Sign up at Calico Cupboard or give them a call
(250-658-2722).

The 2nd project is a wall hanging (48" x 48").

And the 3rd project is this table runner (18" x 60").

Show 'n' Share - Chic Flowers

Sue J. sent me a picture of the runner she made in class with me.

Sue says: "I enjoyed your course at Kaleidoscope Quilt Company awhile ago and have completed the table runner using the curved ruler. Now I'm looking forward to using the ruler on another project."

We used the Quick Curve Ruler for this project. Have you tried it yet?  There so many wonderful quilts you can make with this ruler!

I'll be teaching Chic Flowers again this fall.

Join me at Serge & Sew in Nanaimo on Friday, November 18th for this 1-day workshop.

Class is #578 - 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

Chic Flowers Workshop - The Results

We had a great day at Kaleidoscope QuiltCompany earlier this month. I taught students how to use the Quick Curve Ruler® to make Chic Flowers. Here are 4 of the students with their first blocks.

I missed a photo with one student but all the blocks are here on the design wall.

If you haven't tried this ruler I encourage you to give it a try. There are so many different ways to use this ruler it really is a great value.
