Vacation - Day 1 - 2 ferries

We left home on Sunday morning for a short trip on Ferry #1, Brentwood Bay to Mill Bay. It is a very quick trip across Saanich Inlet and it meant we didn't have to drive to Victoria and then the Malahat. Saved gas, time and wear and tear on the car. 

From Mill Bay we headed north to Comox for a trip on Ferry#2. We travelled on the Queen of Burnaby from Comox to Powell River. This trip was over an hour across the Strait of Georgia. 

We settled in at the Suncatcher B&B after dinner overlooking Powell Lake.  We are right above the Strait with a view towards Texada Island.
