Vacation - Day 2

Drove to Lund to check out the start of Highway 101.  There is a cairn labelled with Mile 0.  This is the highway that runs all the way down the coast of North America and South America....all the way to the tip of Chile, a mere 15,202 km!  We have driven the portion along the coast of Washington, Oregon and California. Coastal scenery is amazing along that route. Not sure that we will ever get to the other end.

Our hostess at our B&B recommended the Wendy's Bakery in Lund and it definitely did
not disappoint.  We were still full from breakfast so took some cinnamon buns for later.

Lund is the 'jumping off' point - or boating off - for Desolation Sound, Savary Island and the Copeland Islands so there is lots of boating activity in the harbour.
After touring this area it was back to the B&B to watch the boats go by, eat our cinnamon buns and relax.
