AQS Nashville

I have finally sorted through all my pictures from my teaching trip to the American Quilter's Society Show in Nashville. It was a whirlwind of activity - teaching, shopping the merchant mall, seeing the quilts and finding my way around the Gaylord Opryland Resort. What an amazing place! There are over 2500 hotel rooms plus a stunning atrium garden, shops, restaurants - all in air-conditioned comfort.

I taught 6 classes during the 4 days of the show. Here are the results from Broken Cookies - all the students let me display some of their blocks on the design wall so we could see the effect.

And here are my students from Little Landscape Quilts with their great landscapes!

On Saturday night, Susan and I went to the Grand Ole Opry for their show. They call it "The Show that Made Country Music Famous".

We saw lots of musicians - most particularly these:

Wynonna and Trace Adkins
