I've been working on.....Convergence and MORE!

Here is my latest 'finish'. A Convergence Bed Runner.

This is so timely because my home guild, the Victoria Quilters' Guild, hosted Ricky Tims for a one-day event on Tuesday. Convergence was Ricky's first published pattern.

We had an amazing day of education, stories, inspiration and music.  Thank you again Ricky Tims for coming to our Guild.

The Bed Runner is a 'companion' piece to this wallhanging that I designed and made several years ago. I'm still finalizing some of the quilting designs and then I will bind it with the dark gray fabric....

PS - these 2 pieces will be For Sale sometime in early June!

Convergence Quilts - Westshore Quilters' Guild

Last Saturday I spent the day with members of the Westshore Quilters' Guild and they created Convergence Quilts.

Here are the results of their day. GREAT JOB everyone!

Convergence Quilts

Last week I taught Ricky Tims' Convergence Quilts to 5 enthusiastic students at Calico Cupboard Quilt Shop. Here are the results of their work. Five very different designs - all the same technique. Well done everyone!
Bev used 4 Stonehenge fabrics for her piece.

Nancy selected coordinating batik fabrics.

Peggy used fabrics she bought in Fort Lauderdale - when she came on my quilting cruise.

Sherrie started with the green fabric and added the orange and purple tones.

Susan wanted to showcase the interesting swirls areas in the green and puple/orange/yellow fabrics.
