This is a 3-lesson workshop. In Lesson One we will have a look at the history of Seminole Patchwork, I will share some ways I have used it to accent garments, home accessories and more. We will cover fabric and thread selection, how to ensure accurate cutting, sewing and pressing and you will make 3 different Seminole-pieced strips.
Lesson Two continues with a project to use one of your strips from Lesson One - a simple-to-make totebag. It is completely lined, a great way to show off your new skills. Then you will learn to make 3 more Seminole-pieced strips that build on your knowsledge and skill from Lesson One.
In Lesson Three you will make 2 more strips and make 2 projects - a bolster pillow and a wall quilt. We will have plenty of time to discuss other project ideas too.

If you can sew with a 1/4" seam allowance, this class is for you! I hope you will consider joining me.
