Classes for November - Calico Cupboard

I will be back in the classroom at Calico Cupboard in November.  The focus this month is on Machine Quilting Techniques, skill building for new quilters and a few of my new patterns.

Free Motion Quilting - Part 1: Stippling is scheduled for Friday, November 15, 10 am - 12:30 pm

Free Motion Quilting - Part 2: Beyond Stippling is offered twice: Friday, November 15, 1:30 - 4:00 pm and an evening class is on Thursday, November 21, 6:30 - 9:00 pm


Bake It Easy is my new Kitchen Set pattern with an apron, potholders and bunholder. There's still time to make this set for holiday gift giving!  Join me on Saturday, November 16, 12 noon - 3 pm.

Do you have a machine with lots of built-in decorative stitches? Did you know you can use them for Machine Quilting?  Find a new way to get the most from your machine in Machine Quilting with Decorative Stitches on Wednesday, November 20, 7:00 - 9:00 pm. 
 




Learn all about triangles and several ways to make perfect blocks in Triangle Tangle. This is a great class for new quilters and a refresher if you have been quilting for a while.

The results of my latest fabric experiments are offered in Improv Curves on Saturday, November 23, 10:30 am - 3:00 pm.  This is a very easy technique for all levels. Just be sure you have a new, sharp blade in your rotary cutter!

Last class this month is a Give & Take Applique quilt.  Pop-O-Dots uses my fun, fast, fusing technique where there is NO WASTE. Make yours modern or use more traditional fabrics - you'll learn all about this method on Saturday, November 30, 10:30 am - 2:30 pm.
