Scatterdays - W

Our first Scatterdays challenge was the letter W and these categories: Expensive, Music, Exciting, WIP.

Here are my photos:

Expensive - I visited our local Liquor store for a photo of a very expensive WHISKEY.

Music - I played the piano as a child, still have that piano (don't play often!) and found WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT in a songbook from the 60's.

Exciting - it was exciting to have the whole family together at Grandma's (my mom) house for dinner on Christmas Eve. Here they all are with a bit WAVE for the camera.

WIP - no quilting for me around the holidays. My Work in Progress was WRAPPING.

Here's a wave from the other side of the Pacific!

Nice "W"s!

like the whiskey. Did you photoshop to get that little box on the top? If yes was it easy?

And a 'wave' back to you Vireya! Love your 'W' entries, especially the windchimes. I have a concrete 'leaf' in my garden. I nice item to see during our winter season when most of my perennials are sticks!

Yes Cinzia. I drew a box around that part of the photo, clicked copy/past and then used the 'Move' tool to move the copied part up in the photo and enlarged it by grabbing a corner. I realized when I looked at the photo that the Whisey part was not going to be readable. Love that Photoshop!

Love your choices for 'W'. Especially the wave - here's also a wave back to you from across that big blue lake in the middle!!! So far, everyone's photos are great.

Lovely collection. I can relate to not using that piano enough...I was speaking at a retirement center "church for all" on the 2nd and the lady who normally plays had a funeral to attend, so muggins ended up playing. I think there was a half a resolution in there to play a little each day.

Very clever! I must take my camera with me whenever I leave the house, for our future Scatterday's blog posts!

Love your interpretation of 'W'. Let's see what 'R' brings.
