On my bookshelf, or rather close to my sewing machine, is my sewing machine manual. Do you know where yours is? Did you refer to it when you first bought your machine? Perhaps it is time to have a look through it again, particularly the sections about your built-in decorative stitches. If there are step-by-step instructions, make a sample and see what you can learn about using these stitches in your work.
