Saanich Fair -150th Year!

For my family the Labour Day weekend means a celebration (my mother's birthday)....doesn't she look great for 89 years old!

and  spending time at the Saanich Fair, Canada's oldest continuous agricultural fair west of the Great Lakes.

It is particularly fun for my granddaughters.

 Alice learned to milk a cow.

Brooklyn raced a 'tractor' and won a ribbon.

They had fun with the 'animals'

and loved 'hanging out together'....at the Fair!
