We have a WINNER!

Thank you to everyone who entered the 2nd Annual Flowers on Friday Challenge. It was a tough decision but I am pleased to announce the winner of this year's Challenge - Denni G. from Smyrna, Tennessee.

Denni's entry was based on the Fritillaria - Crown Imperial photograph.

Denni described her entry:

I was inspired by the photograph of the Fritillaria – Crown Imperial.  Fritillaria is described as “a flower with spotted petals, long narrow leaves, bell shaped with spotted or checkered petals.”  One of the yellow fabrics, one of the green fabrics, and the brown fabric are all speckled.  The green fabric that surrounds the center court is checkered. There are several crowns in the design.  The fabric colors repeat the colors in the photograph.  I used my Electric Quilt 7 program to come up with a design.  The center block is “Andrea’s Fancy,” and the corner blocks are “Rising Sun.”  “Flowering Snowball” is the second block on rows one and three; and the first and third blocks of row two.

Denni will be receiving the Grand Prize:

Stonehenge Stone Strips
My Pad &Schmetz Universal and Machine Quilting needles
Row by Row 2015 Charm Squares
Stonehenge Pink Ribbon - 5 fat quarters
Northcott Colorworks (solids) - Fat Quarter Roll (blues)
4 Patchworks Studio patterns

Watch for a NEW CHALLENGE in SPRING 2016!
