Patchworks Studio 2nd Annual 'Flowers on Friday' Challenge - Summer 2015
The challenge:
Make a quilted project (size information below)
using today's flower (Himalayan Blue Poppy) or one of these four

Here are the details and rules:
You must use photographs from one of the
five blog posts as inspiration for your entry.
- Your project must be 3 layers and must be completely finished.
- The minimum measurement for one side of your project is 14" - a block, a runner,a quilt. a bag - you choose what to make.
- If you use a pattern you must give credit to the pattern designer
- There is no maximum size.
- Your project DOES NOT have to be a 'flower' quilt - ideas: use the colours ('green' will always work with the flowers), the shapes, the proportions of the colours in the photograph.
- The style can be traditional, contemporary, modern or an art quilt.
- You can use any technique but you may not print the picture and use it in any part of your quilt.
How to Enter:
EMAIL two photographs of your completed project -
one full view and one closeup
to Daphne Greig, Patchworks Studio
(Please place a tape measure along the shortest side of your project
when you take the full view photograph.)
Tell me which photograph inspired your piece.

An independent quilt industry professional will choose the Grand Prize Winner.
