Quilts for Alberta

My weekly quilt group has been meeting to make quilts to donate to flood victims in Alberta over the last few weeks. A comment by one of our members to a shop owner resulted in an article about what we are doing in the Victoria Times Colonist newspaper. Read about our efforts here.

When our local TV station saw the story, they arranged to do an interview with us too. They filmed and we chatted for about 1 1/2 hours - for the 2 minute spot on the news!  It was fun telling them about the quilts we are donating and about our friendship through quilting. See the interview here.
