Art Deco Quilted Cushion Cover

I have been invited to teach at a new shop in Victoria.

Avenue Fabric Studio opened in January and it is a great concept!  The owner, Vivien, has created a unique space for people interested in textiles, crafts and creativity.  There are sewing machines (Janome 2030QDC) and large tables available for your use. You can rent time by the hour and sew without interruptions!  Lots of workshops are scheduled too; everything from basic sewing to quilting to home decor to....underwear! And fabrics - cottons, silk, wool, linen - an amazing array to tempt you!

The first class I'm teaching is an introduction to quilting. Students will make a fun block, learning basic quilting techniques. I made my blocks into cushions but they could also be small table mats.

Class is Thursday, March 14th, 6 - 9 pm.

Give Vivien a call to see if there' room in the class.  If not, I can schedule another one!
