My piece, Chutes and Ladders, has been accepted for the Pacific West Quilt Show, August 26-28 at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center. It will compete with 227 quilts and wearable art entries from 18 US states and Canadian provinces of the Pacific West region.
I will be presenting a demonstration of the technique I used for this quilt at the Saturday Sampler at the show. I am also one of the presenters at the Instructor for Hire event on Friday evening. I will be speaking about the workshops and lectures I teach throughout North America. You will be able to see my work and ask questions about the learning opportunities I have developed for quilters of all skill levels. Hope to see you at the show!
The quilt will also appear in my upcoming book Give & Take Fabric Appliqué, to be released later this month. When signed copies of the book are available I'll make an announcement here!

Congrats on having your quilt accepted to the show, Daphne!! Mine will not be there, alas....
That is wonderful! Living in Tacoma, this is an opportunity for me to be inspired by the pros.
Aren't you lucky, the show is coming to you Marti! I'm looking forward to it very much.
