Planner Cover

In my last post I talked about my 'nondescript' planner. It is functional for sure but not very pretty or indicative of what I do!

I decided to make a cover for it using the Sea Fan stitchery I showed last week. I added free motion quilting in the area around the stitched sea fan shape. I chose to sew contrasting lines - more straight than the curvy lines of the sea fan.

Next I selected some black and white fabrics for the lining and the pockets. I made two pockets in the front and back of the cover. They are perfect for holding business cards or, for me, the postcards with information about my Caribbean Cruise in January 2012!

I'll be happy to pull out my planner anytime now!
