Part of me really wants to be there for all the atmosphere. Might have to 'hop a ferry' for one of the free parties! They're running until midnight so we could get back home in one day.
Absolutely magical Opening Ceremonies - Vancouver should be very proud! We have traveled in many of the provinces and territories over the years. British Columbia captured my heart - such gorgeous scenery & the nicest people ever! Enjoy your Olympics - we will be glued to our TV also!
Wasn't it just wonderful! I'm so proud of the organizers and how they showcased our province and country so well. Can't wait for the events to begin - off to figure out the schedule for tomorrow!
