Playing with Angelina and Crystalina

I wanted to see how these two products differed so I spent a few minutes playing today. Angelina is much finer but the Crystalina is very sparkly. Crystalina on the left and Angelina on the right:


I borrowed Sherrill Kahn's book, Creative Embellishments, from my Guild Library. She talks about Embossed Angelina Embellishments. I couldn't resist trying these out too. Here are the results:

Fabric Photo Books - Satin Moon Class

I taught a Fabric Photo Books class at Satin Moon Quilt Shop last Saturday. It was great fun seeing the students create photo collages for their pages. Here are some of the pages they were designing.

Workshops in Nanaimo

Last Saturday I travelled to Snip & Stitch Quilt Shop in Nanaimo to teach. One of the classes was all about Paintstiks. Here are some spectacular results from my students:

My husband drove with me (he golfed while I was teaching). We decided to take the small Mill Bay ferry on the way home. It was a great day for a 'sail'.
