I've just finished making a couple of 'duplicate' quilts from patterns included in my book Fat Quarter Frenzy 2. The first is a black, white and red version of the cover quilt, Tropical Punch. As I was making the original quilt for the book I knew I wanted to see this design in black and white. I found some great red prints in my stash to mix in and the border fabric was also in my stash. It works perfectly with the quilt. Sunday, April 13, 2008

The Quilt Show

La Veta, Colorado, is the home of The Quilt Show, hosted by Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims. I travelled there with my business partner, Susan, to film an episode earlier this week. What a great time we had! It was so interesting seeing the 'behind the scenes' of a full production studio.
This is a picture of some of the stained glass quilts that you'll see on the show. They are from our new book to be published in the Fall. I showed Ricky how we create our Too Easy Stained Glass quilts. Our episode will air sometime between August and December. I'll be sure to let you know when!
