Workshops

I spent Saturday teaching a Bamboo Grove workshop in Nanaimo for the Nanaimo Quilters' Guild. Here are some pictures of the students' work. What a great selection of fabrics and students really enjoyed testing a variety of fancy stitches on their machines. This design is included in my book, Fat Quarter Frenzy. In a one-day class, students have time to try a range of threads and stitches to enhance their leaves.

This is the second workshop I've done with the Guild this month. A couple of weeks ago we worked on Desert Nights from our new book, Fat Quarter Frenzy 2.

New Beginnings

Spring is the time for New Beginnings & Growth - it's a perfect time for me to start this BLOG. I ventured out into my garden early this morning. Growth is bursting all over!

I'm hoping to show you some of the things that inspire my work. Perhaps my ideas will inspire you too!

Lots of quilters are inspired by stacks of Fat Quarters! I've been so inspired that I've written 2 books about Fat Quarter quilts. Fat Quarter Frenzy 2 has just been released. Check out my website for ordering information and pictures of some of the quilts in the book.
